Mrs. Jane Goe, an early settler of Winterset, died at the residence of her son-in-law, W. G. Reynolds, at McPherson, Kansas, September 17. Her home was in Winterset with another daughter, Mrs. Geo. Hornback, till the latter's death, some seven years ago. She was also the mother of Mrs. W. F. Pitzer. At the time of her death Mrs. Goe was eighty-three years of age.
