Transcriber's note: Per Madison County Birth Records, John L. & wife Nettie (Hazlett) Porter had a son born March 29, 1881. The Madison County Death Record shows this to be that same child, living 29 days, dying on April 27th at Macksburg with burial at Macksburg which is, presumably, the Moon Cemetery.
