However, for many years the Madisonian ran weekly features of stories and news items that happened 10, 20, 30, and 40 years previously. On occasion, this included mentions of deaths. The following death was noted in the June 1, 1911 Madisonian as taking place in (most likely May) 1881.

Transcriber's note: Per the father's obituary, this family had 12 children, four dying in infancy. This child would have been one of the 4 infants, born in late 1880 or early 1881.
