RUBY CROW, Bloomfield

BLOOMFIELD — Ruby Darlene Crow, 90, of Bloomfield, passed away May 1, 2015.
 
She was born Jan. 30, 1925, the daughter of Earnest Andrew and Dulcie Velma Moore Busch in Yelm, Washington. At age 3, the family came by train to Iowa. Her dad passed away when she was only 5 years old. Ruby attended country school until third grade and then attended Macksburg Public School and graduated at 16.

On June 2, 1941, she married Nels “Mike” Crow, and to this union three children were born, Joe Franklin who died in infancy, Joleen Frances and Isle Elaine.

Ruby was very talented in music playing the piano, coronet, violin, and the family often sang at church. She was a loving and devoted farm wife, mother and grandmother. She accepted Christ as her savior when they lost Joe. She loved the Lord and led others to Christ.

She is survived by her daughters, Joleen (Marvin) Reynolds of Wichita, Kansas, Isle Elaine (Monty) Hill of Bloomfield; grandchildren, Mike (Lisa Coyle) Reynolds, Jennifer (Rob Fisher) Reynolds, both of Wichita, Kansas, Justin (Diana) Hill of Bloomfield; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and infant son.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield; Pastor Dick Allen officiating. Burial will be at the Winterset Cemetery in Winterset. 

Visitation will be an hour before the service on Sunday.
 
A memorial has been established to the family.
