Lawrence Donovan, a well known shoe dealer of Des Moines, died at his home in that city, Monday, after an illness of three months. He was formerly a clerk for E. W. Jones and grew to manhood in this city. He had accumulated quite a fortune in the shoe business in Des Moines. He was thirty-eight years old when he died.
