Mary Ann Compton of Whittier, California died December 20. She was the widow of M. W. Compton who died about 30 years ago. He was a stock buyer here. Mrs. Compton moved to California in 1922.
Three sons survive. They are Charles of San Diego, California, John of Sheridan, Wyoming and S. W. of Paonia, Colorado. One son preceded her in death. A brother, W. W. Croft of Briceland, Minnesota and a sister, Mrs. Albert Sole of Earlham also survive.
