MARGARET A. HULEN

Margaret Ann Hulen, the daughter of John R. McKee and Mary Ellen Creger McKee, was born April 24, 1905 near Peru in Madison County and died at her home in Indianola on Dec. 18, 1982.

As a young girl, she moved with her parents to Nebraska for a few years, then returned to Iowa where they eventually settled near Indianola.

She attended Simpson College and became a licensed practical nurse, a profession she practiced for more than 20 years.

In 1925 she was united in marriage to Lloyd E. Hulen. To this union two children were born: Joan and Bill. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Warren and Dewey, and her husband, Lloyd, in 1965.

She is survived by her daughter, Joan Holda, of Port Charlotte, Fla., and by her son, Bill, of Indianola; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1982 at the Peterson Funeral Home with John W. Long officiating. Interment was at the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
