October 1920George Washington Caskey, born in Madison Co., 11 January 1858 and died 11 October, 1920 at his home in North Manchester, Indiana.
He married Almeda Ursula Holmes on 30 August 1879. To this union were born 8 sons and 1 daughter, and all survive except 4th son, Robert who died in infancy. The oldest son Nevin, Farmington, Mont., 3rd son Floyd, Reedly, Calif., 5th son Olaf, Des Moines, 2nd son, Homer, 6th son, Leo, 7th son Arlie and 8th son, Judson live near Lenox. Bessie, the only daughter & youngest child is at home snd his brother Robert T. Caskey of Truro.
Mr. and Mrs. Caskey lived in Madison county till 1896, then moved to Adams county then to Indiana in 1919.
Burial is in the cemetery near Salem Church near Lenox, Iowa.

(Special to the News.)NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind., Oct. 16—W. G. Caskey, 62 years old, died at his home on North Mill street as a result of a paralytic stroke suffered some days ago. The remains were sent to his former home at Lenox, Iowa, for burial. The wife, seven sons and a daughter survive.

Page 6, Column 4Nevin Caskey of Montana visited a few days in this vicinity and Mercer, he being called to Indiana during his father’s illness. He accompanied the body to Salem. Another brother Olaf of Des Moines was present also.
