Browne Reid was born near Saint Charles, April 10, 1874 and died April 17, 1923 at the home of his brother, Graham in Waterloo where he had gone to visit his mother and brother. He had been in poor health for some time, but his death came as a shock to the people of this vicinity.
The body was brought here for burial last Thursday, services being held in the M E. church of which he was a member, conducted by Rev. M. J. Rarick of Mitchellville, who was a former pastor here. He leaves Mrs. Reid, three sons, his mother, one sister and two brothers. Burial was in the St. Charles cemetery.
