Death of Mrs. James Young

Mrs. James Young died at the Winterset hospital, Tuesday evening, July 8th, at 8:30 o'clock . She had been ill for several months and had been at Rochester, California, Savannah, Missouri, and Muscatine for treatment. She came to the Winterset hospital on June 4th, where she had been cared for by her sister, Mrs. Nettie Leonard, of California, and Mrs. Ralph Giddings.

She leaves beside her husband, her sisters, Mrs. Leonard and Mrs. Delia Townsend, of California; Mrs. Ed Wasson, of Winterset, and Mrs. Henry Stone, of Eldora, besides other near relatives and friends.

Mrs. Young came here when she was a young girl and had made this community her home since then. She was married to Mr. Young on March 28, 1886. They have been living on a farm southeast of Winterset.

Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon (Thursday) at 4 o'clock, at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, by the Rev. W. C. Porter. Interment will be made in the Winterset cemetery. A more complete account of her life will appear in next week's issue of the Madisonian.
