Friday, January 5, 1894Obituary - Emma Ruby, infant daughter and infant child of Mrs. Stella Armstrong, died Decmber 27, aged 2 years, 6 months, and 4 days, of lung fever, after a painful illness of one week.
Little Emma was the joy and sunshine of the home. It could be truly said that “None knew her but to love her,” but Jesus loved her more than all. In her little childish play, she would often say as had been taught her, “Jesus loves little children.” Her little voice will be heard no more on earth, but will join the angel choir in singing praises to God. Let us bow in sweet submission to his will.
We loved this tender little flower; And would have wished her stay; But let our Father’s will be done; She shines in endless day.
