Thursday, September 13, 1934CHARLES WILSON DIED FRIDAY AT HASTY, COLO.
Death claimed another well known former Earlham man, when Charles H. Wilson passed away at his home in Hasty, Colo., Friday morning. According to a Las Animas, Colo., newspaper report, Mr. Wilson had suffered for the past ten years from cancer of the bladder and the past few months had failed rapidly.
Mr. Wilson was born in Earlham and resided in Hasty for the past 20 years. He was a man of considerable ability and took an active part in the affairs of that community and Benton County during his long residence there.
He is survived by his widow and one married daughter, Mrs. Edwards who resides in Hasty with her family. At the time of death Mr. Wilson was 57 years, 3 months and 19 days old.
Funeral services were held from the Hasty church Sunday afternoon with Rev. George H. Stuntz in charge.
