Thursday, August 31, 1933Mrs. W. A. Hodson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Loson Bridges was born at Des Moines County, Iowa, close to Burlington, June 27, 1867 and passed away from this life here at Reynolds, N. Dak., at her home in Reynolds, August 22, 1933 at the age of 66.
She was united in marriage to William A. Hodson on Sept. 22, 1888. To them were born four sons, Fred, Harold, Carl and Clifford.
She joined the Friends Church at Earlham in 1910. Mrs. Hodson lived at Earlham, Iowa until 17 years ago, when they moved to Reynolds. Mrs. Hodson took suddenly ill Tuesday afternoon and passed away about 9:00 o’clock the same evening.
She leaves to mourn, her husband and two sons Harold and Clifford of Reynolds, N. Dak., Fred of Earlham, Iowa and Carl of Monticello, Iowa; one brother Austin Bridges of Winterset, Iowa, two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Croft, of Bricyln, Minn.; Mrs. Hattie Lucas of Des Moines, Iowa and her twin sister Mrs. Guy Van Hyning of Santa Anna, California.
Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m. at the church with Rev. G. L Roy White Methodist pastor at Grand Forks officiating.
