Page 1, Column 1The sad news came last Saturday that Mr. S. T. Wright, who was visiting friends at Clinton, had suddenly died there. The details of his death are very meager. Mr. Wright was a man well along in years, perhaps almost seventy. He lived a short distance west of town, on the Bluffs road.

Page 1, Column 4Death of S. T. Wright
S. T. Wright, an old and respected citizen of this county, died very suddenly at Clinton, where he and Mrs. Wright were attending a spiritual camp meeting. Mr. Wright, who had been ailing for a number of years and whose health had been very poor, was taken sick on their arrival at Clinton and died two days after being taken sick.
The body was interred in the Clinton cemetery.
Mr. Wright had lived on his farm just west of the city limits opposite the Fairmount Nursery for nearly twenty years and was a man well known for his kindly nature and upright character. He was well advanced in years and must have been nearly 60 years old when he died.
