James Davitt, an early settler of this part of Iowa, died on the 5th inst. and was buried on the 7th in St. Patricks cemetery. Mr. Davitt was an old man, supposed to be in the neighborhood of 90 years. May he rest in peace.

James Davitt, one of the old and well respected citizens of this vicinity, died at his home in Warren county, on March 5th, and was laid to rest in St. Patricks cemetery.
