Mrs. Nancy Ryner, who has been quite ill for the last month is growing weaker every day. She is now eighty-eight years of age, but has had a strong constitution and her recover is hoped for.

Death of Mrs. Ryner

“Grandma” Ryner, mother of Jake and Asa Ryner, of Union township, died at the old Ryner home on last Saturday at the advanced age of 89 years. Mrs. Ryner was a native of North Carolina and an early settler in Madison county. Funeral services were held from the home on Monday, conducted by Rev. E. W. Curtis, and burial made at the McDonald cemetery.
