Mrs. Nona Cain of Des Moines Dies

Funeral services were held from St. Theresa’s Church in Des Moines Monday morning for Mrs. Nona Cain of Des Moines, who died enroute to the hospital February 12th. Burial was in Glendale Cemetery.

Mrs. Cain, who was about 73, was born in the Irish Settlement, Crawford township, the daughter of John J. Ryan and Mary Maher Ryan.

She is survived by three daughters Mrs. Eileen Carroll, Mrs. Florene Miller and Mrs. Theresa Foote of Des Moines and two sons Jack Cain of San Francisco, California and Jack Cain of Los Angeles, a sister, Mrs. John E. (Marie) Dullard of Bondurant and a brother Thomas Ryan of Portland, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her husband Irvin Cain and three brothers, John, James and William Ryan.

Mrs. James Ryan was in Des Moines over the week end with her nieces returning home Monday evening.
