WILLIAM GLEN NIENDORF, Indianapolis

William G. Niendorf, 73, Indianapolis, died Feb. 13, 1998. He was the son of Herman F. & Mari Jo (Manders) Niendorf, born August 16, 1924 in Jefferson Twp. Madison County, Iowa.

He was self-employed and a retired farmer. He was part owner of Metro Softball. He was an Army Air Force veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Winterset, Iowa and American Legion Post #4.

Services 2 p.m. Feb 16 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Indianapolis, of which he was a member. Calling 4 to 8 p.m. Feb 15 in Flanner & Buchanan Washington Park East Mortuary. Burial Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran High School building fund.

Survivors: wife, Vera Martens Niendorf, son, Dennis R. Niendorf; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
