Minnie May (Brown) House was born January 13, 1920 in Marshalltown, Iowa to Charles and Jeanette Brown. She passed away at the Southside Care Center in Winterset on June 30, 2014, at the age of 94. Minnie married Freddie House on October 20, 1938. She loved her family dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1995; three sisters; four brothers; and a granddaughter. Minnie is survived by her son, Freddie Merel House, Jr. and his wife, Aletha of Martensdale, Iowa; grandson, Todd House and his wife, Deb of Melrose, Iowa; granddaughter, Valerie Sondag and her husband Robert of Marshalltown, Iowa; three great-granddaughters; five great-great-grandchildren; many nephews, nieces and beloved friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
