Mrs. Minnie Miller died January 2d, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Scott, near Truro. She was married July 30, 1905, to Albert Miller, and ever since her marriage she has been failing in health, and her friend realized that she would not live. She was a noble young woman and made many friends while she made her home here. The bereaved have the sympathy of all.

Page 10Minnie Victoria, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Scott, was born Sept. 22, 1888, and died at the home of her parents Jan. 2, 1906, aged 18 years, 3 months and 11 days. She grew to young girlhood in this community and was known by all for a loving and social disposition.
On July 30, 1905 she was married to Albert A. Miller of Hanley, Iowa, and a new home was reared at that place, but owing to the continued illness of the young bride it was thought best to remove her to her parental home, where for one short month she received all the care that a loving husband, parents, brothers and sisters could bestow. She was a constant sufferer but words of complaint seldom passed her lips.
Over a year ago she had a severe spell of sickness from which she never fully recovered. During the last few days she realized that her life work was ended and said that she felt ready and wanted to go home. On the eve of her death she asked her relatives to kiss her a last good bye, after which she asked them to sing “God be With You Till We Meet Again.”
The funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. S. Howe from the home and the remains were laid to rest in the Hartman cemetery.
