Church conducted by Rev. J. W. Stribling. The severe snow storm prevented many from attending yet a number of friends braved the elements in order to pay their last respects. Interment was in Earlham cemetery.
William Bigwood was born in Felicity, Ohio, March 27, 1853. He was married to Rachel Nichols at Rockville, Ind., March 31, 1875. To this union was born seven children, six of whom, Effie, Zena, Madge, Maggie, Ellis and Mary Anna, together with the wife and mother, are left to mourn his loss. One child died in infancy.
He was a member of the Knights of Pythias. He was a kind father and husband and an upright citizen.

Wm. Bigwood died last Sunday morning at four o'clock, after a long illness. The bereaved family have the sincere sympathy of all. Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Friend's church.
