Judy Ann Heeren

Judy Ann (Bruns) Heeren, 70, of Earlham, Iowa formerly of Allison, Iowa passed away April 11, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Memorial service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at St. James Lutheran Church in Allison, Iowa. Memorial contributions may be made to the Judy Heeren Memorial Fund, in care of Johnson Family Funeral Home, PO Box 171, Earlham, Iowa 50072. Judy was born on May 24, 1943 in Butler County, Iowa to John and Tena (Hoodjer) Bruns. She was baptized on June 13, 1943 and confirmed into the church on March 21, 1960. Judy graduated from Aplington High School.

Judy was united in marriage to Jerald Heeren on January 30, 1965. She was a teacher's assistant, beautician and a homemaker. Judy was a member of St. James Lutheran Church where she was active in the choir, played piano and was a member of the Altar Guild. She was a member of the Sew-Sew Sisters Quilting Club.

She is survived by her loving husband: Jerald of Earlham, Iowa; daughters: Coleen (Bill) Johnson and Cheryl (Bill) Clauson; son: Chad Heeren; grandchildren: Tyler Johnson, Meghan Johnson, Michele Johnson, Thomas Johnson, Mason Clauson and Aiden Clauson; sister: Eileen (Bob) Valentine.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents.
