Mrs. Sarah Dean died Monday January 20 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. P. L. Stanley. A short funeral service was held at the home, after which the remains were taken to New Sharon for burial.

Obituary

Sarah Coulson was born in Ohio, March 21, 1825, and died at the home of her daughter in Earlham, Iowa, January 21, 1908, aged 82 years and 10 months. She was married to Roland T. Dean, April 29, 1847, and with him moved to Iowa in 1872.

She has resided in New Sharon about thirty-two years. She joined the Methodist church when quite young and remained a faithful member of the same until her death. She leaves three children to mourn her loss: William S. Dean, Warren J. Dean, and Mrs. P. L. Stanley.
