LeRoy Fredrick Fuller, 77, of Earlham passed away Monday, February 24, 2014 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday, February 27th at the Johnson Family Funeral Home in Earlham. Memorial service will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 28th at the Earlham United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Earlham Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Earlham United Methodist Church or Earlham Fire and Rescue, in care of Johnson Family Funeral Home, PO Box 171, Earlham, IA 50072. LeRoy is survived by his wife: Maxine; children: Doug Fuller, Les (Tracy) Fuller, Marcia Link (special friend: Larry), Sherie (Jason) Ewers; 12 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends all of whom will miss him dearly.

LeRoy Frederick Fuller, 77, of Earlham passed away Monday, February 24, 2014 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. LeRoy was born December 5, 1936 to Rex and Winona (McCain) Fuller. He had one older sister: Barbara and lived most of his life in Earlham. He attended and graduated from Earlham High School. LeRoy spent most of his life farming with his dad. He served in the United States Army for two years and was stationed in Germany with his wife Maxine. LeRoy was united in marriage to Maxine Nelson on December 27, 1959. To this union four children were born: Doug, Marcia, Les and Sherie. They also have 12 grandchildren.

LeRoy served as a substitute mail carrier for many years, served on the Elevator Board, was a trustee for the Earlham Methodist Church and was a member of the Earlham American Legion. LeRoy and Maxine enjoyed square dancing, camping, reading and spending time with family and friends. They spent many hours watching their kids and grandkids in sporting and other events. He also owned and rode horses and in his teens was a member of the Earlham Saddle Club. LeRoy and Maxine were honored to be chosen recently as King and Queen at the Earlham 4th of July Celebration. LeRoy retired from farming in 2005 and they moved to Earlham. The couple celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2009.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents: Rex and Winona Fuller; infant son: Daniel; grandson: Daniel Jones; and sister: Barbara.

LeRoy is survived by his wife: Maxine; children: Doug Fuller, Les (Tracy) Fuller, Marcia Link (Larry Vais), Sherie (Jason) Ewers; grandchildren: Hannah, Hailey, Hope and Heidi Link; Samantha, Roselaure, Grant and Kenson Fuller; Jacob and Olivia Ewers; London and Wyatt Vais; Matt and Tyler Corbin; great-grandson: Jack; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends all of whom will miss him dearly.
