Fred Mardis recently received word of the death of his nephew, Glen Tidrick who was about 45 years of age had been in poor health for some time, having complicated testing for being gassed in the World war.
The deceased was a son of the late Charles Tidrick of Winterset, who for many years had an interest in the Tidrick - Terrell department store on the south side of the square.
Mrs. Tidrick had married Fred Grout and she died several years ago. Mr. Tidrick leaves a wife and a daughter.
