Two Deaths

This morning about 4 o'clock, James A. Darnall and Mrs. L. Lowe passed away. They both were prostrated by a fatal illness many months ago.

The former came to Winterset some twenty five or thirty years ago and was actively engaged in the harness business till early last winter, when he was prostrated by disease. He was an amiable and industrious citizen and will be long remembered by many people of the county who had business relationships with him.; funeral services will be held tomorrow at high noon.

The Lowe family came to Winterset about the same time or a little later. They brought up two beautiful daughters, Edna and Mardi, now both grown to womanhood. Mrs. Lowe had been a patient sufferer for a long time and was a favorite of the best women of the city. She was the daughter of Mr. Buchanan who so long lived out by the fair grounds and for years was a trusted official of the county. Both families have the sincere sympathy of all our people.
