The remains of A. W. Barnes, who passed away at his home in Ft. Scott, Kans., on Oct. 21, were brought here and funeral services were held in the M.E. church Oct. 23 by Rev. Barick of Mitchellville. Mr. Barnes formerly lived where W. S. Lindsley now lives.
