Services for Donald A. Smalley, 69, of 805 S.W. Sixty-third St., who died of a heart ailment Saturday at Northwest Community Hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at McLaren’s Resthaven Chapel. Burial will be at Winterset Cemetery in Winterset.

A lifelong resident of Des Moines, Mr. Smalley was a retired employee of Penn-Dixie Industries, Inc.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Butler of Wautona, Wis.; three sons, Donald A. Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz., and Dennis and Randy, both of Des Moines; two sisters, Mildred Voitel of Des Moines and Doris Almond of Grass Valley, Calif.; a brother, Bernard of Des Moines; 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
