Zelda M Oblinger, 75, passed away December 30, 2012 of dementia. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the United Methodist Church in Grand Junction, IA.

Zelda was born near Earlham, IA to Russell and Hazel Hester on October 25, 1937. She was a graduate of Earlham High School in 1955.

Zelda is survived by her husband Tom Oblinger of Coralville and sons Jay Thompson of Grand Junction and Jon Thompson of Magnolia, TX.

Coralville Zelda M. Oblinger, 75, of Coralville, died peacefully on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Lantern Park Nursing & Rehab Center following a courageous battle with dementia.

Service: No local services will be held. A memorial service to celebrate Zelda’s life will be held at a later date in Grand Junction, IA.

Cemetery: Burial will be held this spring in Grand Junction, Iowa.
