Graveside services for Mrs. Mabel E. Merryman, 89, of Denver, Colo., formerly of St. Charles and Des Moines, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the St. Charles Cemetery.

Mrs. Merryman died Apr. 30 in Denver of a circulatory ailment after being ill for two years.

She was born in Laurel, Neb., and lived in Des Moines five years.

A graduate of Laurel College in Laurel, Mrs. Merryman was a school teacher and also worked at the former Mingus Nursing Home in Des Moines.

She was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors include a son, Donald of Kansas City, Mo.; a daughter, Mrs. Berniece Garland of Denver; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

The body is at Dahlstrom Funeral Home.
