Joseph M. Morris, a lifelong resident of Crawford township, died suddenly at his home there on Monday of last week. Death was due to a heart attack. He was 68 years of age.
Mr. Morris was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Morris, early residents of Crawford township.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mayme Cutler. He also leaves a sister, Mrs. W. J. Hall of Shawnee, Okla, a half-brother, Pat Morris of Cumming, and two half-sisters, Mrs. John Holgren of Corning and Mrs. N. Swift of Corning.
Funeral services were held last Thursday form St. Patrick's church in Lee township in charge of the Rev. J. J. Reynolds. Burial was made in St. Patrick's cemetery.
