Native of Winterset Dies at Acapulco

Earl Cline, member of a formerly well-known Winterset family, died June 8 in Acapulco, Mexico, according to word received here this week.

Mr. Cline was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Dodge Cline of Winterset. His father was a well-known grocer here for many years.

Mr. Cline spent his active life in the field of education. Among other assignments, he served as superintendent of schools at Dubuque, and at Colorado Springs, Colo. He had been living at Acapulco in recent years.

Surviving are his wife; two step-children; and a sister, Mrs. Florence Bachman of Oceanside, Calif.

Funeral services and burial were held at Acapulco.
