Mrs. Melroy, 87, Dies at Clarinda

CLARINDA, IA.—Mrs. Katherine Melroy, 87, of Council Bluffs, died Monday at a Clarinda hospital.

Mrs. Melroy was born at Council Bluffs.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Assumption Catholic Church at Churchville, with burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Caldwell-Brien Funeral Home in Des Moines.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Frances Pathuis of Chicago, Ill., and two grandchildren.
