Floyd B. Lamm Dies at Truro

Native of Decatur County Had Lived Near Truro for 40 Years

Floyd B. Lamm, a resident of the Truro area for 40 years, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Clarke county hospital in Osceola. He was 73 years of age.

Mr. Lamm was born in Decatur county, Sept. 1, 1890, a son of John and Mary Jane McVey Lamm. His life was spent in farming. He was a member of the Truro Methodist church.

He was married April 29, 1915, in Des Moines to Emma Short, who survives him. He also leaves a son, Merrill Lamm of Ogden; three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Rosander of Norwalk, Mrs. Virginia Beener of Des Moines, and Mrs. Helen Lorenzen of Truro; 19 grandchildren; in addition to two sisters, Mrs. Viola McNichols of Osceola and Mrs. Alta Fagan of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Truro Christian church, conducted by the Rev. James Nicholson. Burial was made in the Ebenezer cemetery near Peru.

Floyd B. Lamm Rites Saturday

TRURO, IA.—Floyd B. Lamm, 73, of Truro, a Madison County farmer for 40 years, died Wednesday at an Osceola hospital. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Christian Church in Truro.

Mr. Lamm is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Rosander of Norwalk, Mrs. Virginia Beener of Des Moines and Mrs. Helen Lorenzen of Truro; a son, Merrill, of Ogden; 19 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Viola McNichols of Osceola and Mrs. Alta Fagen of Des Moines.
