Stephen Connor of Cumming Dies

Stephen Connor, 81, of Cumming, died early Sunday at Mercy Hospital here of a cerebral hemorrhage.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Church at Cumming, with burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery there. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at the Conley Funeral Home at 3425 Grand Ave.

Mr. Connor was born in Madison county, lived most of his life near Cumming where he farmed for 50 years until he retired 10 years ago.

Survivors include five sons, Clarence, Vincent, James, Michael and Austin, all of Cumming; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Berger of Perry, and Mrs. Harvey Rosenburg of St. Paul, Minn.; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
