Memorial Services For Laura Tate

Memorial services for Laura Tate, a native of Winterset, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 25, at the Winterset Cemetery. The P.E.O. Sisterhood AG will be in charge of the services, and Dr. Paul Hann will officiate.

Miss Tate died in December in Yucaipa, Calif., where she had lived since her retirement about six years ago. Born and raised in Winterset, Miss Tate had been a librarian in Colorado Springs, Colo., for many years. She was a member of P.E.O. for 73 years.

Miss Tate’s sister, Gertrude McKinney of Yucaipa, will accompany the ashes here. She will be the guest of Isabel Fletcher.
