BERTRAM H. RUBY

Services for Bertram H. Ruby, 77, who died March 23 at his home in McMinnville, will be held March 26 at 1:30 p.m. at the chapel of Macy and Son. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Ruby was born in Winterset, Iowa and moved to Stockton, Kan. with his parents when he was nine years old. He came to McMinnville in 1912 from Plainville, Kan., where they had lived since 1900. He was for many years a member and worker in the Christian church. Ruby was a member of the Modern Woodmen, fraternal organization.

Pallbearers at the funeral will be Ed Pratt, Ward Sitton, W.H. Agee, Dr. W.H. Barendrick, Wallace Savage and Ivan Pearson. Rev. Grant Cole and Rev. S. James Osborne will officiate.

His widow, Daisy, whom he married in 1894 in Stockton, survives. He is also survived by three daughters, Mrs. Charles Roy Loop, Tracy, Calif.; Mrs. R.M. Meyers, Portland and Mrs. C.R. Ringle of McMinnville; a brother, Ernest of Stockton, Kan. and two sisters, Mrs. Cora Reynolds and Mrs. Jessie Marshall of Stockton; three granddaughters, Mrs. Shirley McLain, Miss Lee Meyers and Miss Phyllis Ringle and two great grandchildren, Nancy and Kent McLain.
