ODESSA BLANCH MUSELMAN

Odessa Blanch Muselman, daughter of Albert Thomas Caldwell and Ida Elizabeth (Pierce) Caldwell was born February 5, 1926 in Des Moines, Iowa and passed from this life Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Clarke County Hospital at 86 years of age.

Odessa received her education in country schools, including New Virginia, Truro, and Woodburn.

She was united in marriage to Cleo Chase Muselman on January 16, 1946 in Kansas City, Kansas and 3 children blessed this union.

Odessa was a farm wife and enjoyed her animals and flowers, especially her beautiful rose garden. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Odessa was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cleo; sisters, Gladys Johnson, Vera Samson; brothers, Don and infant Albert, Jr.; and granddaughter, Laurie Carson.

Odessa leaves to cherish her memory; daughters, Karen (Earl) Hamilton, Janice (Ron) VanWinkle, and Vickie (Steve) White. Grandchildren, Dusty (Chelsie) Hamilton of Osceola, IA; Kevin (Lori) Hamilton of Indianola, IA; Kadin (Krista) White of Ankeny, IA; Lance Sponsler of Marshalltown, IA; Chris (Lacey) VanWinkle of Osceola, IA; Brandon (Sheri) VanWinkle of Osceola, IA; Nickie (Jeff) Shaffer of New Virginia, IA; Shelly (Tom) Lynch of Ames, IA; Tammy (David) Grooms of Osceola, IA; Donnie (Lori) White of Sibley, IA; Angie (Dain) Wadsworth of Des Moines, IA; grandson-in-law Brian Carson of Woodburn, IA; 28 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, as well as other relatives and many friends.

Memorials:
Directed to her family to be decided at a later date.

Visitation:
on Saturday, January 26, 2013 Family will greet friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday prior to the services.
Visitation will be open from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Friday.
