Leonard J. Wagner, 86, of Greenfield died Tuesday morning, April 26th, at Greenfield Manor. He was a farmer and had retired in 1955.
Services were held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Bickford - Murray Funeral Home in Greenfield. Gerald Reed and John Guikema officiated.
Burial was in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Mr. Wagner is survived by his wife, Addie of Greenfield, one daughter, Mrs. Russell Toner of Des Moines, four grandchildren and one great -grandchild. Also one sister, Mrs. George Hamner of Winterset, and three brothers, Carl and Earl of Winterset, and Ed of Waterloo.
_______________________Transcribers note: Leonard and his wife Addie M. (Slaughter) Wagner were married in Winterset, Iowa, January 10, 1917. Leonard's middle name was found in his World War I Draft Registration Card.
