August 1919H. Bert Farnsworth died in Stillwater Friday, August 8, following an operation, aged 40 years, 5 months, and 9 days. He was born in Madison County, Iowa.
He was united in marriage to Miss Lizzie Nation, of Stillwater, February 21, 1901 to this union was born six children, all living. The deceased also leaves, besides his widow, five brothers, two sisters and many other relatives to mourn his loss.
His father and mother died some two years ago.
Those who came from a distance to attend the funeral were D.O. Farnsworth and J. H. Farnsworth, brothers of Silverlake, Kansas; Frank Pope and Lew Pope of Keil and C. W. Nation of Halstead, Kansas.
