Word has been received of the death of Mrs. J. Leonard Treece of 430 West Fairview, San Gabriel, California on November 25 of a heart attack.
Mrs. Treece, the former Jane Bertholf, was born in Winterset, the daughter of Nelson and Nell Jane Bertholf. She graduated from the Winterset High School with the class of 1929 and has visited in this community many times.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard, and their son, Nelson, of San Gabriel.
Burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery in Whittier, California on November 26.
The family requests that any memorial gifts be made directly to the cancer or heart funds.
