Twyla Pennell Services Set

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. this Friday, July 5, at the Kale Funeral Home in Truro for Twyla Gean Pennell, who died June 29 at Frederick, Maryland. She was 44 years of age.

The services will be conducted by the Rev. Richard Hempenius, with burial in the St. Charles Cemetery.

Tyla Tennell Services Held

Funeral services were held at Truro last Friday, July 5, for Tyla Gean Tennell of Frederick, Maryland, who died at the National Institute of Health at Bethesda, Maryland on June 29. She was 44 years of age.

Tyla Gean Tennell was born at Indianola on June 20, 1930, the daughter of Edon and Inez Smull Brafford. She was married to R. Wayne Robert Tennell.

Mrs. Tennell was employed as a secretary at Governor Thomas Johnson Evening High School in Frederick, Maryland.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a brother, Charles B. Brafford of Des Moines, and a sister, Phyllis Doughton of Des Moines. Two aunts, Mrs. Erling Hanson of Manchester, Iowa; and Mrs. Leonard Haas of Indianola, also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 5 at the Kale Funeral Home in Truro, with the Rev. Richard Hempenius officiating. Burial was in the St. Charles Cemetery.
