Services Thursday For Former Resident

Funeral services will be held from the Collins Funeral Home this Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. for Guy R. Kitt of Omaha, Nebraska.

Burial will be in the Winterset Cemetery.

Winterset Madisonian – February 9, 1972

Guy R. Kitt Dies In Omaha

Guy Ralph Kitt of Omaha, a former Madison county resident, died Monday, Jan. 31. at the Veterans hospital in Omaha. He was 79 years of age.

Mr. Kitt was born at Earlham, a son of George and Emma Laudenbach Kitt. His early life was spent in farming, and he later worked as an automobile mechanic and security guard.

The first 49 years of his life was spent in Madison county. He had lived in Omaha the last 30 years.

Mr. Kitt was a veteran of World War I, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Omaha.

He is survived by a brother, Ray Kitt of Orient; and two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Irwin of California and Mrs. Stella Wolverton of Montana.

Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Newton Coughenour, pastor of the First United Methodist church of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery with military honors by Green-Rogers post of the American Legion.
