Florence M. Sullivan, 85, of 7729 Drake Court, Clive, died of cancer Wednesday at Hospice Kavanagh House. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in West Des Moines. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Cemetery near Cumming.

Mrs. Sullivan was born near Cumming and had lived in the Des Moines area most of her life. She retired from Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. and was a member of St. Ambrose Cathedral and Telephone Pioneers Club.

She is survived by a son, Patrick, of Clive; and a grandchild.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Caldwell-Raddatz Hickman Chapel, where a vigil service will be held at 6:30 p.m.
