Bertrand L Miller was born in Woodhull, Illinois, October 19th, 1876, and died at Winterset, Iowa, March 18, 1926.
He graduated in dentistry in 1901. He was very successful in his work until a stroke of paralysis stopped his work in the prime of life and in the midst of his usefulness. He was very fond of his real friends and was always loyal to them.
He was patient in his suffering, uncomplaining and always hopeful and cheerful. Death had no terrors for him, he talked a good deal of heaven. The long struggle is over now and he is at rest. He will be greatly missed by his mother and sisters.
