July 10, 1992 Metro pg 7Ernest L. Mumford, 88, of Fontanelle died of pneumonia Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Center, where he was a resident nine years. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Link Funeral Home in Stuart, and burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Des Moines.
Mr. Mumford, a retired truck driver for the Iowa Liquor Commission, was born in Madison County and lived in the Guthrie County area all his life.
A brother, Kenneth of Gardiner, Ore. survives.
