Alma Underwood Pasi, Winterset

Funeral services for Alma Underwood Pasi, 95, were held at Collins Funeral Home Tues., Feb. 12 with the Rev. Clifton E. Hyatt officiating. She died February 9 at Winterset Care Center North, where she was a resident.

Born in Warren County to Dewitt Clinton and Martha Jane (Chiles) Dietz, she married Merle J. Underwood January 1, 1917 who preceded her in death. She then married Victor Pasi in 1945. Having lived in Des Moines for 66 years, she moved to Winterset in 1933. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first and second husbands, a brother, a sister and one grandchild.

Survivors include four sons, Floyd of Winterset, Carolyn of Des Moines, Dewayne of DeSoto and Harold of Lorimor; two daughters, Merline Nichols of Winterset and Eleanor Clemens of Des Moines; a sister, Bernice Coe Alcorn of Winterset; nine grandchildren; many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.
