Biography
Lucille Carrie Griffin, 93 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Wednesday evening February 2, 2011 at the Miller County Care Center in Tuscumbia, Missouri. She was born on January 21, 1918 in Mt. Ayr, Iowa to the late Dee and Ada (Bell) Binder. She was also preceded in death by both of her husbands, Clare Griffin and Floyd Fitzgerald. She is survived by a son & daughter in law, Joel & Karen Fitzgerald of Phillipsburg, Missouri; six grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren

Mrs. Griffin was a homemaker and caregiver for many years. She was a member of the Eldon Methodist Church and also attended New Life Assembly of God Church in Barnett, Missouri. She was a member of the Town & Country Garden Club and served as president for four years. She also served as president for Rebekah Lodge.

Visitation will be held on Thursday February 10, 2011 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Missouri with the Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 PM also at the Funeral Home with the Bro. Bob Hoskins officiating. Interment will be held on Friday February 11, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Cemetery in St. Charles, Iowa.

Memorials are suggested to the American Foundation for the Blind or the Miller County Care Center in Tuscumbia, Missouri.
