CARLISLE, IA.—Muriel Darr, 89, of Carlisle died of a heart ailment Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Home here, with burial in St. Charles Cemetery in St. Charles.

Mrs. Darr was born in Yale and lived in the Hartford area for 48 years. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include seven sons, Carroll of Bay City, Ore., Bud and Bob, both of Hartford, Victor of Franklin, N.C., Ray of Indianola, Harry of Seattle, Wash., and David of Placencia, Calif.; four daughters, Dorothy Thompson of Pleasant Hill, Georgia Evans of Des Moines, Betty Harrington of Buena Park, Calif., and Colleen Thompson of Largo, Md.; four sisters, Lavina Anderson, June Jurgenson and Lois Hansen, all of Toma, Wis., and Gretchen Hanson of Wabasha, Minn.; 46 grandchildren; 84 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Violet Thompson Living Memorial at Carlisle High School.
