Fred Richard, 2 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Glass, was kicked by a mule last Wednesday afternoon and his skull fractured. The little fellow was taken to a hospital in Des Moines at once but he passed away the same evening at 10:30.

The funeral was held Friday at 2:30 at the M. E. church, conducted by Rev. C. K. Corkill of Menlo. The little form was laid to rest in the Worthing cemetery east of town. The parents have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community in the taking away of their only child.
